About The Studio

The Concept

In physics, when two waves meet, they interact. They may amplify one another and grow in size, or even cancel each other out. It’s a concept that stuck: the idea that two things coming together—breath and body, effort and ease, inner and outer—can create something deeper.

Two Waves Yoga is a space to amplify what supports you, balance what challenges you, and restore what’s been depleted. Amplify. Balance. Restore. Repeat.

The Environment

The studio itself is bright, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Cozy radiant floor heating keeps you warm during cooler months. The building is LEED Gold Certified, designed with environmentally friendly materials and systems that support both sustainability and a healthy indoor space.

Our Offerings

We currently offer a small weekly schedule and occasional special offerings, with plans to expand as the community grows.

Meet Kaya, Founder & Instructor

Kaya Burke
200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher | Personal Trainer

Movement has always been a central part of Kaya’s life—from yoga and dance to running and strength training. These practices help her feel grounded, present, and deeply connected to herself.

Kaya took her first yoga class at age 11, an experience that sparked a lifelong relationship with the practice. Over the years, yoga has been a steady thread in her life, offering calm, clarity, and perspective through both stillness and challenge.

Outside of Two Waves, Kaya works as a personal trainer specializing in slow-movement, high-intensity strength training. She is also a visual artist and has led several community-based creative projects, which shape her unique approach to space, presence, and connection.

Her intention—across all her work—is to help people feel more at home and at peace in both body and mind through thoughtful, supportive movement and experiences.
