New to Two Waves Yoga?

We’re so glad you’re here. Whether you're brand new to yoga or simply new to this space, this page has everything you need to feel comfortable, informed, and ready to practice.

Before Your First Class

Arrive a little early: To give yourself time to settle in and land, aim to arrive 5–10 minutes before class — especially if it’s your first time with us.

What to bring: Come just as you are. Bring your own mat if you like, or borrow one of ours (we just ask that you give it a quick wipe before returning it). We’ve got all the props you’ll need — bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets, and eye pillows — plus a water cooler and tea station for you to enjoy.

What to wear: Comfortable clothing you can move in freely.

Health concerns? If you're working with an injury or managing any physical conditions, please let your teacher know before class so we can help support your experience.

Studio Etiquette

Phones: Please silence and tuck away your devices during class.

Before class begins: Feel free to sit or lie down quietly and begin turning inward.

Shoes & belongings: Please store your shoes on the racks inside the studio and wear socks or go barefoot while in the practice space. Hooks are available for coats and bags.

Bathrooms: Two single-occupancy bathrooms are located just outside the studio. Keys are available inside the studio by the front door.

Arrivals: Give yourself time to find parking and get settled. If you do arrive late, please enter quietly and respectfully.

Fragrances: Out of consideration for those with sensitivities, please avoid wearing strong perfumes or colognes.
